ABOUT ME
I’m a designer who makes complex technology simple.
At Usul, I'm a Founding Product Designer, leading design and frontend development for an AI platform that helps government contractors secure contracts. I design and build both internal and external tools, and work across user research, product marketing, and product design.
Previously, I was a designer at AV, designing intuitive systems for aerospace and defense that reduced friction, accelerate development, and empowered teams to work at scale.
Across my work, I focus on making sophisticated systems feel natural to use. I studied Cognitive Science (Design & Interaction) at the University of California, San Diego, where I combined an interest in how people think with a drive to build real-world products. That mix of psychology and design still shapes how I approach systems today: prioritizing clarity, usability, and structure so tools support people rather than overwhelm them.
Beyond design, I keep creative through pottery, clay, and film photography. I mentor new designers through BobaTalks, and used to volunteer as a guest ambassador at the San Diego Zoo.
